Gunn Meyerhoff Shay Architects worked alongside Diedrich Architects on the design of this 500 seat sanctuary, and took over lead responsibilities during construction in 1995. Later, Gunn Meyerhoff Shay was commissioned to design the new parish center, and completely renovate and add onto St. James Catholic School, serving grades K-8. The completed facilities include a day care center, nursery, pre-school classrooms, elementary and middle school classrooms, gymnasium, cafeteria and kitchen, library, narthex, sanctuary, day chapel, meeting rooms, administrative offices, playgrounds, and a football field.
