Gunn Meyerhoff Shay was chosen to create a 20 Year Vision Plan for the future of this campus in 2012. By documenting the existing conditions and identifying their shortcomings, a sound foundation was laid for future improvements. Conceptual plans were created for these needs, and new buildings designed for academic and athletic facilities, including planning for a new track and field with seats for 5,000. These designs allowed for design budget cost estimates.  

 

In these ways, Gunn Meyerhoff Shay provided a compelling package for Benedictine Military School to attract the right amount of donations needed to start building their future. GMShay broke ground on Phase 1 of the campus new STEM Building in March of 2016.

 

The STEM building program includes math classes, computer classes, science labs, a lecture hall, and an open atrium in the center. This project was phased during school occupancy while conducting renovation and new construction.
