GMS teamed with Atlantic Star LLC to create the ‘Factor’s Walk Living Roof’ for the City of Savannah‘s Office of Sustainability.  Factor’s Walk - the bridge between Bay and River Streets is named for cotton brokers or “factors” who bought, sold, and shipped their wares along the banks of the Savannah River. Four areas along 100E Bay Street to 130 E Bay Street were selected for the installation of these green roofs and will feature a variety of plants, ground cover, and rain water harvesting.
